A place preposition is a word that gives you information about location, time or direction. For example, in the following sentence: “El Libro está encima de la mesa”. The English translation of this sentence is “The book is one the table”. The preposition in this case is “encima de” which gives us information about location of the book.

Spanish has a type of verbs called reflexive verbs. A reflexive verb shows a moment when the person or subject doing the action, receives the action as well. In other words, a reflexive verb is carried out when the subject of the sentence performs an action on itself. Therefore, the subject and the object of the sentence are the same.
